Sierra International 18-8088, Fuel Connector , white

All four of my JohnnieRudes have these Nissan style fuel adapters. I replaced the leaky OEM adapters by putting in a longer hose to the fuel pump, removing the OEM fitting and routing about 16in. of hose past the hole left by removing the OEM adapter. Fit in your male "Nissan" adapter on this 16in fuel pump line and use a clamp or tie to keep the hose from pulling out of the hole in the motor. The fuel tank gets the female adapter. Your primer bulb hose which connects to the tank gets a male adapter. The outboard side primer hose gets a female adapter. Once you do this you will not have the dreaded air in gas line miss. You can now take the primer bulb with you by unsnapping the connections and it will be much harder for someone to start your boat.

Worked well for a season connecting the fuel line to my 8 HP Nissan 2 stroke. Less than a year later the fuel line to motor connection leaks fuel, even with a solid connection between this fitting and the motor. I have yet to find a long lasting reliable connector.
