Wonderful traditional Polish recipes made easy!
My sister informed about the publication of this delightful recipe book. We had lost family recipes over the years and this book fills that gap. I love the ringed binding and great photos. The recipes ( various types of Pierogi, Cabbage Rolls, Goulash, and Poppy seed roll, etc.) are easy to follow and are filled with memories for me that I can pass down to my family.

Authentic recipes
I bought the spiral version. I love how it lays flat while cooking. The recipes are authentic - not jazzed up with a bunch of unnecessary spices. I am anxious to work through all the recipes. The photos are very beautiful. I hope the food tastes as good as the photos look!

Salt pork
Great cookbook. Made the cabbage rolls. I do use salt pork in a lot of my Polish dishes, not in cabbage rolls but in boiled potatoes and fresh green beans! It gives such a unique flavor! Just cut salt pork in small pieces and fry until golden brown. Drain potatoes 🥔 and add the fried salt pork and stir. Really good,

Each dish is a piece of the past.
As a polish woman, with a grandma who passed years ago, I only have her stuffed cabbage recipe. This book is filled with the traditional polish food she made when I was growing up. Every page has a photo as well as the English and polish name of the recipe. She shares bits of history behind recipes and traditions. Even an alphabetic pronunciation guide so you Know how to say what you are cooking authentically. I look forward to sharing many memories around the table with these simple and delicious recipes frommy heritage.

Good Basic Recipes
The book was well presented with lovely pictures and easy to understand directions. I was hoping that the recipes were more from my grandmothers era as those are the foods I miss. But this book was a gift so I feel it will be used and appreciated.

Love it, exactly what I was looking for!
As a Polish Canadian I have recently be rediscovering my heritage. I've been thinking of learning how to cook traditional dishes but found Polish cookbooks to be slightly confusing with measurements and the language. I was so excited and happy to find out that the author of one of my favorite blogs had a cook book coming out! This is exactly what I was looking for; Polish recipes in a format that was familiar to me. I am super excited to try all the recipes out!

Authentic and delicious!
This contains recipes my grandmother-in-law used to make when my wife was little. I wanted to bring back those memories for her. The first book I bought was for a Christmas gift. These two that I just bought are for my daughters who rave about the delicious recipes. They are a triple hit!

Measurements?
A lot of the recipes have no measurements so you kinda gotta wing it. And some done have cool or set times.
