This book is in great condition. Looks like it has never been used. It has a lot of valuable information. Glad to have it in my collection!

I have another classic and it arrived with about 20 pages missing. I was so hesitant to order this. It is pristine. Looks like it has never been read. LOVE IT. 1970 - classic and has invaluable information. QUICK delivery. So Happy!

The media could not be loaded.  I love old books they are willing to teach you how to do sewing unlike more common new age books. This one is worth the price. If you can find this book it's a must in your library. My library consists of books about every subject a person could want to do. Gardening to raising livestock, flowers other forms of stitchery like embroidery (love Chinese embroidery), etc. Another book I recommend is The Complete Encyclopedia of stitchery by Mildred Graves Ryan.

This was well worth buying and worth reading if you want to learn a more complete knowledge of sewing. Even better combined with YouTube tutorials. Would be even better with an actual live class.

This book is in fantastic condition! It has wee outer blemishes, as described in seller info, but pages are perfect. It's really like new! Great information that's stood test of time, right up there with the Readers Digest books first and second volumes. (Did not care for third edition). This was a fantastic deal, and arrived early too!

This is the only sewing book you'll ever need. I do wish they would update the photos & drawings since the ones in the book are from the 60's & 70's. But the instructions & examples teach Everything you need to know about textiles, sewing paper patterns, adjustments & how to construct every article clothing for both women & men.

The book is exactly as I remembered. The cover was quite tattered and not sure if it was that way when I ordered it or the package it was shipped in?
