Great fit, comfortable light jacket
Great fit, comfortable light jacket. I use it as a go to in the warmer months, and to pack on biking and backpacking trips. It is very water resistant, but not fully water proof. I went on a run in the rain in it a few weeks ago, and after about 45 minutes of light turning into heavy rain I noticed the shoulders and sleeves seeping water through. My favorite thing about this jacket is the stretch, on my bike or moving my arms up the back doesn't ride up like many other jackets. I am 5'10" and 150lbs with slender shoulders, the Small fits me great.

Not a true rain jacket, but a very good technical jacket.
This is a hybrid, light jacket/rain resistant. Much more comfortable than most rain jackets, with a soft lining, and great stretch that means it does not restrict range of motion. It isn't actually waterproof, but it is quite water resistant. My very first time using it was on a 18 mile hike, and it rained hard for 45 minutes, followed by a lesser rain for a couple hours. It didn't stay completely dry, but water was still beading up, and it performed better than I expected.Recommended as a light jacket that is water resistant. Not recommended if you need a hardcore waterproof rain jacket.

Perfect Jacket
I've had this Jacket approx. 4hrs, and already know that I'll love it. I've already taken a 1 mile walk with it on in 32 degree f temps and a 15 miles per hour wind and was impressed with how it felt on me and how it kept the wind at bay. I'm 6' tall and weight 170-175 ( athletic build) and was torn between a med and large. I decided on a large and am glad I did because it fits perfect. I wound up putting a puffer under the ferosi on my walk and it wasn't overly tight at all. I think someone my size would be fine with a medium if you were more interested in a fitted look and had little need for much layering underneath. My only knock if any would be that the sleeve cuffs aren't overly loose which is good for wind ,but requires some negotiating over the wrist if your wearing a watch. Overall I see this as a jacket I will be grabbing for almost all but the warmer temps and just altering the layering underneath.

A great 3 season jacket.
I purchase this jacket as a 3 season everyday outerwear and it surpass my expectation.Likes:+ Great fabric: Lightweight, not bulky, wind/water resistance+ Comfy fabric: Soft hand (not as soft as cotton) but comfortable enough over a short sleeve t-shirt+ Great fit: Not too baggy, just nice to layer over a t-shirt or light fleece.+ I love that it doesn't use velcro cuffs. Elastic cuff is simple, easy and works+ Thumb holes are a very nice feature.+ Subtle branding. Not flashy. OR is very cool like that.Improvements- It would be awesome to have 2 way zipper for the main zipper- Add some (subtle) reflective piping for night time visibilityOverall great jacket, highly recommended.

This jacket ran way to small for me
I really liked the fabric, design and quality of this jacket but I just couldn't understand why the fit was so tight for an XXL. I am 6' 3" and 245 with a 48-50" chest and this jacket restricted my movement. There was no way you could put an underlayer beneath this jacket and be comfortable. Companies like Outdoor Research should "research" the fit for people my size. I can't be the only big guy that likes to hike and be outdoors. If you are a young "flat belly" and like a tighter fit you wouldn't be buying an XXL anyway.

Awesome quality
Same great quality you expect from Outdoor researchI keep this in my backpack at all times because it’s light weight and you can wear it without getting hot inside buildings and it keeps you warm in 50-60 degree weather easily tooOne note is this color is deceiving because I was expecting a black on grey, when it arrived it was a medium grey on light grey no hint of even dark grey on it so it’s a greybuy the black if u want black on it as this one isn’t close in color at allI have the black one as well and they are both equal in fit and quality

Love how light weight and breathability it is compared to ...
Outstanding soft shell layer. Hidden thumb holes are multi functional as there never needed all the time. Love how light weight and breathability it is compared to other soft shells that act like one layer soft shell. This is light weight and covers well and serves a purpose. Hood and collar wrap up well when mosquitoes are present.

Nice lightweight wind layer
No, this is not a warm jacket in and of itself. It's very thin lightweight material. It a great layering item. For example... I wore it over a t-shirt and sweatshirt while shoveling in 17°F with about 10-15mph winds. I generate a lot of body heat naturally and this stopped the wind from breaking thru. I wound up sweaty by the end of my driveway which is big enough for about 8 vehicles. The hood covers up your neck and head (duh right) and it's the same wind block as the body of the jacket and it fits nicely over a hat. It has the cinch cord to hold it down. It isn't very big to begin with anyhow. The jacket nicely packs into it's own pocket. Since it's very stretchy it doesn't restrict movement. I wear it for a breathable yet wind break layer when running in the cold. I use it for work since I'm outside for my job a lot. So far it's been very durable. My only complaint about it so far it's the stupid thumb holes. They are way too small for using long or at least for my hands. I have some other items with thumb holes that are bigger and very comfy. These not so much. They work to keep the sleeves down if you put another snug fitting layer over this but imo that's all these are good for.I think it's a good jacket worth the money on a sale. I'm not a big fan of sticker prices.

Great jacket
Great jacket, got the blue and its a bit more muted in the flesh which is very nice. I got the large, I'm 5'10" and 190 pounds, athletic build and it fits well, not too tight around the shoulders and would allow a thin jumper under but not too baggy.Performance wise its very good, windproof so quite warm but breathable and lightweight. I use it for cycling on colder dry days and it's great.

Versatile lightweight soft-shell
Really pleased with this jacket. Lightweight enough to run in and virtually windproof. Breathable, packable and shower proof, it has become my go-to jacket. Nothing I would change, in fact I might buy a second for everyday use.

Perfect for Spring walks
Ticks all the boxes - just like wearing a thin flexible top.
