Warm or cold mist humidifier
The humidifier is quiet and puts out plenty of mist. I’ve only used distilled water and when I fill before bedtime it’s still running when I wake up. My husband likes that it can run either warm or cold mist and we can set how much steam comes out. I just wish it was a top fill.

Love watching the mist
I’m enjoying this humidifier indeed. I’ll like I can breathe better now. A low price and the noise is low. The size is good not too big to a small room. The output mist is also good.

Works Well But Must Use Distilled Water (for your health)
This unit can really pump out the moisture. It recommends using distilled water. While it will humidify with hard water, it also put the minerals in the air, leaving a fine dust around it. Worse yet, you could be inhaling that dust. So do use distilled water. The only downside is not being able to turn of the blue light. But there are ways around that.

Not good quality
It was great that it puts out large amounts of of directional mist, but I broke on the second day, mist only comes from the bottom, returned

Lots of good stuff
The media could not be loaded. Wow I didn't expect this humidifier to work so well! Just look at our video.I have three other humidifiers (a different brand) for smaller rooms in our home. We purchased this one for a large room, and Consumer Reports magazine recommended this unit as their top pick for large rooms. Unlike the other three, we can actually SEE the mist coming out of this unit, and it works SO much better than the other three. Some observations, pro and con:- Easiest of our 4 humidifiers to refill with water- No filter needed and GREAT mist output (see attached video & pic)- Automatic on/off humidity settings or continuously on- I was expecting to place it on the floor but it recommends to have it 2 feet above floor- 1.3 gallon tank lasts about 2 days for us if set at 45% humidity on medium fan (low-medium-high)- They recommend distilled water, but we're using tap water, which is allowable but will require more tedious cleaning at some point- Warm vs cool mist settings, although the so-called "warm" is barely discernible- 360 degree dual spinning nozzle to aim the mist in 2 different directions- AMAZINGLY quiet. Two thumbs up! We might actually get another one and retire one of the others that we have that is too noisy and not as effective.

The humidistat function is useless and the output nozzle is in a bad location
I bought this unit because it got a high rating in Consumer Reports. Rarely am I disappointed with their recommendation but this time I am. To be fair they did warn that the humidistat function is not very accurate. On the one I received the humidistat feature is completely non-functional. It always reads that the humidity is 95%. The highest shut off setting on the unit is 75%. Because the humidistat always reads 95% the unit does not function unless is to set at "CO", continuous output. As it implies the unit then runs continuously until the tank is empty. I'm keeping the unit because it's outputting mist as needed. I don't want the hassle of a return but I don't think I would buy it again. EDIT: The instructions could be better. I saw a complaint about the nozzle on top of tank keeps it from sitting flat while filling in another review. I had the same issue until I realized the nozzle can be easily removed and replaced for filling. That would have been good to see in the instructions.

Reasonable tank capacity
The device works well and on the medium setting it uses about two tank fills (two gallons) of distilled water a day when running continuously.

It works but not very well
If you’re looking for a humidifier that can accurately adjust to the humidity in a room then this machine is useless. I have to turn the controller up to 55% to get it to humidify to 35% in my bedroom. I know that there is always some leeway for accuracy but this thing is miles off. I’ve had other humidifiers and none of them were very accurate, but none a bad as this.
