OtterBox Defender Case for Sony Xperia Z4V - Retail Packaging - Black

OtterBox cases have a solid reputation of protecting phones like no others. They make a few different lines of cases to cater to specific needs (ie: slimmer profile, more durable, etc.). The Defender series is built to protect. It's not designed to be slim and in a lot of cases it's not even designed to be aesthetically pleasing.This case is built like a tank. As you can see from the photos, the case is quite stout and covers every exposed area of the phone, right down to the built in screen protector. Edges are raised a substantial amount to ensure nothing within reason is coming into contact with your screen should your phone get dropped or otherwise abused.This case fits the Z4V like a glove. Button and screen responsiveness are decent and the belt holster is of course a perfect fit. Buying a case, then trying to find a way to attach your phone in said case onto your belt is a pain. Otterbox takes the annoyance out of this by custom building a belt holster for these cases.All in all a great product. If you're looking for superior protection in a non-flashy case and aren't concerned about keeping it slim, look no further.

If you’re looking for the case with the most protection. . . . This is it. If you don’t work in an area where you need such protection, or you’re not really rough on phones, then OtterBox makes other cases which may work better for you, and be less “bulky”. But for construction, anything with a lot of dust and grime, then this is the one. There is a built-in screen protector, so you don’t have to worry about purchasing that separately. The screen protector is very responsive, with no “lag”. The current price is also lower than Defender cases for other phone models. So overall, if you need the most protection. . . then this is certainly the case you want.

Otter Box is a brand you can trust to protect your electronics. In our house we have Otter Box cases on all our phones and tablets. I will not that sometimes the thick screen protector becomes a little difficult on a touch screen and after time looks pretty bad. I think that Otter Box is working with the best they have and I hope to see better screen protection quality in the future. We are tough on our electronics and have put all our Otter Box cases through the ringer. I even lost my phone in the snow while shoveling to find that I had run it over. I found it pressed it into my tire track in the snow. It was fine!

I love the color, the fit, and the look. Not the lightest case, but if you want protection, you need a bit of bulk to do it. Standard, sturdy OtterBox case. As will all OtterBox cases, fits snugly yet I can get the phone out of it easily when and as needed. The "drop test" works - the phone was fine with no issues.

This is bulky and plastic, but it works great for protection. This is a high quality protector that's a good fit for your Sony Xperia. It's not all that showy, but it is protective of your device and after all, that's what counts.

Great otter box case for phone, offers style and a lot of durability and protection in it's thick shell case. I definitely prefer this brand over all others I have used and it stands the test of time, this case is the top of the line!

It's a Defender case but not as bulky as some of the other Otterbox's I've seen. It fits well and honestly is such great protection, even at the cost, that it's worth it. You can't go wrong with a Otterbox case. Just splurge and get it.
