Please Disregard My Last Review
My last review I stated "was not as advertised" because it was not double-sided adhesive. I was sent a replacement instead of receiving a refund. I was out of town so by the time I realized it, I was stuck with one and able to return the other (based upon expiration return date).Anyway, I purchased a new phone dashboard holder for the car and it came with an additional sticky disk holder. Carefully, reading the instructions, I realized it is double-sided adhesive. The illustration showed how to remove both film coverings. I thought there was only one film to remove. So, so sorry. : (THE DASHBOARD PAD MOUNTING DISK WORKS PERFECTLY!!! : )

Works on even curved surfaces!
I have a 13 year old car, which sadly does not come with any of the lovely mod cons like a wireless phone charge pad or dab/bluetooth/touchscreen. So I had to old school it and by a Bluetooth plug and a stand for my phone. But the suction cup was useless. So I thought I'd try these pads and it has been perfect! The pad needs approx 24 hrs to fix in place, you might need to press it down every now and then if it's on a curved surface. But once it's on, it doesn't move and anything attached to it won't move either!!

easy to use, does the job
I had to position one of these on a slight slope on the dashboard, near the side window. Glad I didn't get it wrong and no way will I ever get it off! It is stuck firm, doesn't move, despite only 3/4 being stuck down and perfect for the sucker thing on my phone cradle. Mine is tucked to the side, but the shiny surface might be an issue in the middle of hte dashboard.
