Despite those changes, the helmet's coverage is also increased; the back dips lower, and extended protection zones at the sides protect your sensitive temples. The Metah's shell includes Fox's Varizorb multi-density impact reduction system, which utilizes a layered pattern of cone-shaped foam in varying densities to maximize impact absorption and protect your brain if you do crash. A rear dial retention system and Y-Strap adjustment under the chin let you dial in a comfortable, secure fit so you can focus on the trail instead of your gear, and ten huge vents provide air flow to keep your noggin cool and collected on even the warmest days.
