Not perfect, but I cannot even make out what songs ...
My computer speakers had a lot of radio interference. If I just had them on without listening to anything on the computer, I could clearly listen to my local radio station. I bought these and clipped one on each of the cables going to my two speaker (the wire going into the speaker, not the power cable, with the clip going as close to the speaker as possible). It cut the radio noise down by approx. 90%. Not perfect, but I cannot even make out what songs are playing anymore.Opening the clips was somewhat tricky. They each have two hinges on one side and two plastic latch tabs on the other side. The tabs have to be lifted outwards at the same time, away from the body, in order to then be able to open the clip. It's tough to get a fingernail under each of the tabs to then open the clip at the same time.

Cheap, they work. Kill RF.
I bought some of these in several sizes recently because every time I'd key my mike on my HAM radio, the program running the radio would stop and the USB cable software (FTDI) would crap out/disconnect. I'd unplug the USB cable, reboot the radio, everything would work fine. I'd recently added an Elecraft W2 wattmeter and another Elecraft USB cable when the problem started.I got to thinking - not for long - about stray RF on my desk and noticed my iMic adapter had a toroid RF choke on it.Hmm...I got these and some 5mm ones (ten to a pack) and put them on all the cables from everything on the desk - and no more crashing on transmit.Cheap insurance. Turns out several companies already make cables like that so I bought a few.

Didn't work for me. Product well built though. ..
I bought these for a set of older Creative I-Trigue 3300 speakers. I get buzzing from my phone (T-Mobile) a lot and have to keep my phone at least 2-3 feet away. I bought these in hopes that the interference would go away. After installing it I would still get the feedback. However, it could be just my carrier or the speakers themselves creating this issue. As for the product, the suppressors are built well. Solid items. I'm sure they may work for a lot of people, but weren't effective in my case.

Mostly works
I bought this product so that I could have my phone near my desk without all the speaker feedback. They mostly work. My cell carrier is Verizon and I noticed that LTE signals still go through the wire. Overall, these noise suppressors block out the other signals going to my speakers. It seems to work for the ATT signals. My colleague's phone no longer tries to talk to my desk speakers.

Simple and very effective suppressors.
These suppressors are simple, effective, and fit comfortably on many different cables. I originally bought these to add one onto the power cable of a cheap FM adapter I use in my car. I noticed when I first got the adapter that it was emitting signal noise from the car's alternator and snapping one of these on the adapter's power cable cut the noise out entirely. These suppressors turned my $5 adapter into a $20 adapter in terms of audio quality! I also use one on the headphone cable on my SEGA CD game system and it keeps the audio super clean.

total waste of money
I bought these because I have two 7" led light bars for my fog lights in my 2000 Chevy 1500, when I would turn these lights on the radio would have no reception, I bought these thinking they would help the radio reception, total waste of money, didn't work at all.

don't buy from this listing
These are supposed to be 3.5mm cores, but twice now I have received 5mm instead. If the size doesn't matter to you, then buy the 5mm from the listing for them, as you get 10 for $7.38 and this one you only get 5 for $5.68. It is best to have suppressors that fit tight against your wires, and I wanted these for smaller wires. It is also important to note that the outside plastic shell is the same for both the 5mm and the 3.5mm. Only the inside core is different. The first time I got the wrong size I had Amazon take them back, and they had the company pull this listing and check the supplies, then told me they had fixed the problem. Well, the second time I got 5mm again. Apparently, uxcell considers a quick glance at the outside to be sufficient check to see if they have packaged the correct part. Or perhaps they ran out of 3.5mm. At this point it doesn't look like I will be able to get the correct size, so I guess I will just have to use the 5mm and let them be a bit loose on the smaller wires. That should at least be better than nothing. The 5mm themselves are fine, but only 2 stars for not being the correct item.

Fixed My S-Video Signal Interference
These filters did exactly what I wanted them to. I run an S-Video cable from a PC to an old CRT TV. I used to have interference on the screen (diagonal lines) and these completely eliminated them. I don't have to mess w/ the cables every 10 minutes to make sure they're positioned "just right." I just popped one of these on each end of the cable and, voila, no more interference!
