Good Jig for the Money
Decent low cost jig. I do not see why it would have any negatives - yes it is not a Bitz, but for the money, I could by 5 of these for 1 Bitz. It does a great job and is not difficult to set up (somewhat intuitive). It cleans up very well using acetone or Methel Ethyl Keytone (MEK), but I prefer acetone - honestly if you need to put a bunch of time into clean up, then you are probably using too much glue.I've fletched "fat" Carbon Express CXL's with it as well as Blue Streaks with equal results. I have only used Bohning Blazers or X2's with it, so I cannot speak to results with longer vanes, but the results are equal with either vane.

Could use some improvements
Easy to use and operate. I've used it a dozen times so far.My main complaints are that you can't really apply much pressure onto the arrow shaft and that the plastic is susceptible to getting glue on it, so it isn't an ideal material. I wish they would have lined the clamp with metal. When i shave off piece of dried glue I am risking cutting into the plastic.Would also be nice to have 1/16ths of a inch on the measure.Otherwise it gets fletches on your arrows okay for $30. Not a bad deal.

After a bit of tinkering, it works well
I had to tinker with it a bit to make sure I knew how to start mounting the fletchings with a 2° left setting. I found I needed to just take my time and not rush in using it. Smaller diameter arrows take more time for the glue to set, otherwise they'll start lifting up and you have to start over.I found that mounting the Fletcher to a wood base make it steadier and easier to manipulate.Even though some people hate plastic, it is less expensive for it's use is easy to clean the glue up, and will be durable for many years of use.

Inadequate adjustments
This jig seems to be built from a good quality plastic, and is solidly constructed. Also, fletching glue can be easily cleaned off the clamp with some acetone, without damaging the plastic. But the angle adjustments are inadequate. I've been re-fletching some 5/16" Cabela's Extreme Stalker and Gold Tip Traditional arrows, and have found that when using the right clamp, the leading edge of the feather was too far to the left of the shaft center line (when viewed from the nock end). I traced the problem to inadequate clearance designed into the body of the jig near the magnet which holds the clamp.I was able to take a sanding block with 100 grit sandpaper to remove excess material on the jig to allow the right clamp to then position properly on the jig. But the jig should have been designed better to allow for proper placement of the clamp. Also, as others have noted, you need to be careful to keep the nock firmly pressed into the vane on the knob assembly; otherwise, the nock can drift off center when gluing the fletching in place.

Love this clamp
Affordable and very versatile, you can really dial in the right amount of offset, just be checking knobs and make sure everything stays snug, it only takes a couple arrows to get dialed in.Tip: Buy some oracle 651 vinyl and make your own wraps its a lot easier removing vanes and experiment with different setups. Especially helpful for broadhead tuning.

It makes arrows!
This fletching jig seems to work well for a clamp type jig. I have no complaints. It is nice that it has markings on it to tune in adjust fletching offset.
