Canon's series of image stabilized binoculars deliver outstanding optical performance and stabilization capabilities at a very affordable price. Whether upon the water's edge or high in the catacombs of a stadium, you'll get close and steady views of action with this 8x25 Canon offering. A textured rubber coating provides a sure grip as well as a bit of protection from the elements, while the center-mounted focus and stabilizer controls are easily accessible for both hands. These are streamlined in design, and about the same weight and size as a midsized 8x32 optic. There's a case included, but the recommended case is an extreme improvement.

BEWARE Fungus Magnet
Binoculars have never left my living room but have become infested with fungus on ocular lens, objective lens and on circuitry (according to repair center). Canon Repair Center quoted me more than the cost of a new pair to clean - $550. I found another repair place that will clean them for close to the cost of a new pair! Don't waste your money. Have a friend (who originally recommended the glasses) with identical problem. Granted, I don't have AC, but come on, I can't believe that these glasses aren't nitrogen or argon charged for the hefty price tag - or otherwise anti-fungal treated.
