My D7S arrived exactly when they said it would, it was exceptionaly well packaged in TWO cardboard boxes & some bubble wrap inside. The D7S feels well built, it feels weighty & 'solid' & feels like it could take a few knocks easily. It has it's own HD plastic case with PROPPER HINGES not those useless single bits of plastic hinges that after a while just split. The case also has two good quality alloy clasps to hold the case shut. Inside there is very good quality foam lining to hold everything in place. The scan tool itself also has TWO velco straps to hold it into position in the case. Inside the case is 3 different plugs for charging options, a good HD OBD connection lead & a quick start guide. I have not used my scan tool yet but all the signs are good & the fact the Xtool team are there for me is very reassuring. The team at Xtool contacted me to ask if all was ok & their customer service was fantastic, I cant thank them enough for their offer of helping me with any issues I may have setting my D7S up & guiding me with any assistance I may need. The media could not be loaded. Bought this D7S scan tool for me and my husband to work on our cars and we are really impressed with what you get for the money you pay. Amazing return on your investment, not like some brands.We were a bit nervous to spend that much but after watching lots of reviews on previous generation D7 we decided to go for this. Happy to say me and my husband were not disappointed.With this price range this one I believe is the best scan tool in the market if not no.1.You can get the full worth of your investment after programming few keys, key programming is one of my husband’s favourite features in D7S because buying a key programmer could hurt your pocket. This tool offers countless features… obviously depends on the car you have, some are very useful features anyone can use; oil reset, ABS bleeding and so on.Auto scan function works perfectly on our Nissan Qashqai and can diagnose issues in minutes.D7S is improved design then D7 and comes with latest android software. There’s many expert reviews about D7 which caught our eye and D7S is upgraded version of D7 so impressed with this purchase.Also you get 3 years free updates and you work on almost all makes which is a plus point.So I will say if you are looking for a scan tool which offers lots of useful features and don’t want to spend much I would say go for this one and you won’t be disappointed.

Very good lots of stuff you can use it for but not on every car the age of the car could make a difference but you can ask them by email they will reply very fast on the reply free updates for 3 years very good all stars

This is an by far the best car diy car diagnostic scanner I have owned and used. Infact calling it diy car scanner is completely wrong as it gives you professional and OEM level information, coding and service functions as the very expensive one for less that £500.It very easy to use, you get 3yrs free updates, and covers a lot of manufacturers of including Europeans, American and Asian manufacturers.Also you get regular software update and new manufacturers and services function are continually added by Xtool.Don't waste your money buying expensive scanners. This Xtool is more than what you will need for any diagnostic or services issues on your car.

I purchased this item in Jan 2025 Faulty, when I recievd it and turned it on it had been registred to another user since Dec 2024? Basically a used item had been sent to me, I returned and recievd full refund, cant review its as such it was faulty

It will comprehensively read and report all DTC's on my 2020 Ford Kuga but diving deeper I couldn't investigate a battery charging issue as it wouldn't connect to that specific ECU. This may be possible with a more expensive bit of kit, but I can't justify the cost to the wife and I'm probably going to have to live with the low charge in the (newish) battery that was replaced under warranty.I reached out to XTOOL support and they made an update available on the unit within a couple of days, so full marks for that. This was for the American version (Ford Escape) but made no difference in reading the specific ECU. I reached out a gain and was still waiting for a response.I also tried the unit on a Nissan but no listing in the manufacturers.With an Amazon return date looming I had no choice to return the unit, which was a shame as it comes with the 3 year update regime.Update: Lemon from Xtool reached out and sent a free code reader for my troubles! Was a very nice gesture as the kit wouldn't function as I wanted (at this price point).Thanks again, Xtool!

Quality of build is amazing for the price of this unit. I have had a great experience since I got this machine it's very fast to auto vin and covers all system with vast amounts of special functions and resets its worth the money. 3 years updates is also amazing it gives you piece of mind that it will be kept up to date without massive Yearly updates like some of the competitors. ***** from me on this one.

Quality build and customer service has been second to none with fast responses to any queries I have had.
