Very Impressed
I have a 2007 Volvo XC90 V8 (4.4L) with around 196k miles that's had a shudder going from 3rd to 4th gear around 1500-2000 RPMs for well over a year. Trans fluid changes would relieve it temporarily, but it'd always come back. I had previously tried the Lucas transmission additive but didn't notice any difference with this particular car (I think it helps more for flaring, slipping, and hard shifts but not torque converter shudder). I recently did 3x flush and fills with MaxLife ATF (now probably have only about 20% original fluid in the trans), reset and relearned the car's adaptive shifting, and the shudder became significantly worse. It was now noticeable in additional gears. Fearing I needed a $1k repair (and having used ATP AT-205 in the same trans and other vehicles to successfully seal leaks), I decided to give ATP's trans treatment a try. Shockingly, the difference was noticeable as soon as I pulled out of the driveway. There was still a very slight shudder from 3rd to 4th, but after driving the car for about an hour it's hardly noticeable anymore. In fact, it may just be me looking for a vibration that is now actually uneven road pavement. I will update (promise!) if this fix starts to fail, but as for now - wow. $20 in absolutely well spent on this product.EDIT: About two weeks after install the shudder got significantly worse than even before the AT-202 was added. After plenty of forum reading there appears to be a heated debate about Maxlife ATV being used in the TF80SC transmission, despite Maxlife meeting the JWS 3309 spec. I ended up draining and filling 15 qts of Mobile 1 JWS 3309 fluid through the trans to completely replace all the fluid (holds about 7 qts). This fixed all but a minor shudder between 3rd and 4th gear around 1500-2000 rpms. I then leveled off the fluid at the appropriate operating temperature, added ATP AT-222 (different, 2oz product) and I can say the transmission is as smooth as butter. I believe AT-202 would have smoothed out the 3rd to 4th shudder again had I added this full 10oz bottle, but I opted to try AT-222 instead so I didn't have to drain off extra trans fluid after adding the 202. I still recommend ATP AT-202 given how it massively improved my transmission shudder just moments after adding it. This update is merely to say DO NOT USE MAXLIFE IN THE AISIN TF80SC TRANSMISSION.

Well then...I believe this stuff is MAGIC now...
I'm not exactly a mechanical idiot when it comes to cars (I'm not expert either), but I know that most of those $15-$50 engine super-amazing treatments are complete BS placebos just there to make you feel better. So, I'm usually skeptical about pouring something into your car to solve a problem. But I'll be damned; this stuff actually works, and quickly to boot! I'm telling you, it's like magical transmission juice. Maybe it won't work for everyone, but I slogged in half a bottle into my jerky 1989 busted up beast and the next morning, the tranny ran like a champ!YMMV, but I'd say it's worth a shot for the price.

my 2012 fj cruiser alwasy shifted a little weird. i change the fluid religiously, but never seemed to help. added this on my last change, and the shifts are nice a crisp. not bad for a stock auto trans with over 200k

Worked for my 2002 Suzuki xl7
After bad fluid leak, replacement with regular fluid made transmission hesitate when placed in Drive. Problem solved within 30 minutes of use.

I bought a case of this stuff and it made ...
I bought a case of this stuff and it made most of the cars shift hard. We are a used car dealer and decided to put this in the transmissions of all the cars based on a friends recommendation. It may work if the car has a problem, but it seemed to create a problem in cars that didn't have one. Now we know, don't fix things that aren't broken.

I have a 2007 volvo xc90 6 speed transmission, the 1st gear was a bit rough and 2nd to 3rd was slipping a bit, it took 2-3 days and the problem's completely gone i still can't believe it.GREAT PRODUCT!!!
