Prego Ready Meals, Creamy Three Cheese Alfredo Rotini, 9 oz (Pack of 6)

I have no idea what so many others think is so wrong with this processed pre-prepared food. Were they expecting fine fresh Italian home cooked flavor? I bought these as an easy option to grab on my way out the door for work, and they've delivered perfectly. I think the flavor is quite pleasing, a little spicier than your average alfredo, but still very good. There is a bit more sauce than might be necessary for the amount of pasta, but I generally dip some Ritz crackers in it and that tastes great. For the price, the meals are filling and tastier than I find many of the other microwaveable lunch options out there. I do wish it had chicken or some sort of meat in it, but I also find that the quality of meat in ready-made lunch items like this is generally sub-par so it doesn't really bother me much. They also are actually ready in 1 minute, unlike many options that have to be stuck in there for an additional 2 or 3 minutes to cook fully. These have become my favorite go-to lunch option at work. I will be buying them again.

Convenient, convenient, convenient! They really are Ready Meals! Health issues make these a steady meal favorite. I cook mine for 90 seconds in microwave - like my food good and hot. Gives me time to do my add-ons and mix it well. Need to be sure product is situated at the bottom of the pouch before opening. But practise makes opening ok!But, I like the combination of cheese flavors. Keep my condiments handy to add: lots of pepper, a tiny bit of habanero powder - that's really hot!, some garlic powder. But health issues make the convenience of these really appealing. It's hard to beat a product that heats in 60 seconds (I use 70) and doesn't have any dishes to clean afterward.

These things are delicious and super convenient, I've tried all the different flavors in all three varieties, Prego, Pace, and Campbell's, and all are delicious.To the naysayers who claimed instant vomiting, you should probably see a doctor about that condition, or possibly a psychiatrist.

Very handy and great to have if you're on the go. I rent a room in a house with three other girls who sometimes dip into each other's food without asking, and these are very convenient for me for a multitude of reasons. I don't have to refrigerate them, so I don't have to worry about them being eaten by a hungry grazer looking through the fridge in the middle of the night, and I am typically gone for several days at a time, so the fact that they don't go bad is also very helpful. I can also bring them to work and don't have to make room in our tiny little work cooler for them if I don't eat them immediately. I purchased these again in a few different flavors.

it was ok. it seems too thick i had to add water to it to thin it out a.little. the packaging needs a little work the cuts to open it are below the grab points and are not that useful. i still find myself cutting them open. i think if they added chicken to it it would be much better. on the plus side you have food without a bowl to clean in one min. on the down side i don't see a good way for the package to be recycled easily.

Good pantry staple for someone who is no longer able to get to the kitchen and cook for themselves. Not very healthy though. Comes in handy for my elderly parent.

I've never taken the time to write out a written review before because I didnt think my positive or negative reaction would really matter.I am a college student who is happy when I can afford to splurge on a soda with my Little Ceasars Pizza. I have embarrisinly low standards on what I will eat.This stuff is a putrid vomitous mass that should be removed from amazons site as a form of packaged chemical warfare.If this was Russia the team of dietitians composed entirely of Kitchen Nightmares chiefs who made this "meal" would have been taken out back of the lab and shot.If Prego offered to end world hunger with these meals I would find the factory where they were being made and burn it down.Take my one star review and divide it by zero because there is no number that exists to convey my inner lip curling rage that the FDA didn't immediately approach the U.N. to declare a humanitarian crises at the prospect of living creatures being duped into eating this.Just... don't.

I am a person who more or less lives off the ready meal type things. Of the many kinds I've tried, these prego packets are my favorite. To me it actually doesn't taste like a one minute food in a bag at all, but like something that's fresh cooked, with a really appealing flavor and texture for me. It seems to get a fair number of "gross" reviews, but, like so many other things, I guess you love it or hate it. Won't know which side you're on til you try it!
