LEE Men's Big & Tall Dungarees Belted Wyoming Cargo Short

Okay, I am a female who years ago was able to get really good cargo shorts at Army-Navy places, and Old Navy used to make women's cargo shorts that weren't junk made of sheeting. My last few pairs fell apart just when I needed them the most, so I ordered these, as I have had good luck with Lee jeans for women in the past. I used to buy the men's cargo shorts from Old Navy but those are garbage also. Ladies, a hint: Buy men's shorts, sized to fit your HIPS not your WAIST. Plus sizes for guys help a lot here. They will sit nicely at the hip, and these come with a belt also so you can adjust the fit exactly. Yes, they will be big in the waist but that is what the belt is for--just adjust to how high/low you want it on your hips/waist. Unlike all of the garbage in the women's section for cargo shorts--and they are ALL trash--fall apart easily, made of sheeting, not enough pockets, etc--I'm telling you, shop in the Men's Big and Tall section. They will look great on, NOT bunch up, are made like iron, and will wash well. You'll have them forever. Really, take the plunge on this one if you are looking for cargo shorts that can actually hold stuff in the pockets, last a full day in the heat without soaking through with sweat, and whose hardware isn't just phantom buttons sewn onto fake pockets.

First of all, let me start with the positive. These shorts are very comfortable, available in a variety of colors and sizes, and look nice. However, these have a terrible flaw. I purchased 7 total pair of shorts and so far, 3 of them have torn in the EXACT SAME SPOT. The first pair tore the first time I wore them, so Amazon was courteous enough to send a replacement. However, the second and third pair have lasted a couple of months and less than 10 wears per pair. Clearly something is wrong with the design or material because I have had literally hundreds of other shorts that do not do this. The tear has occurred on the left leg just to the right of the cargo pocket. I'm assuming that the stitching of the flap over the pocket has weakened the material in that area, and actually trying to use the pocket results in just enough tugging to rip the material.I would have really liked for these shorts to have been something I ordered over and over again in the future due to the selection of size, color, and availability, but unfortunately I'll have to find a different product.

I am forced to downgrade to "I DON'T LIKE"; however I do like them and they're comfortable and well priced, but of the 4 purchased 3 have failed in the same place in under to a year. Too bad.

These are great shorts, and fit just as I expected for the sizing described. I am a little disappointed in the inseam length as I'm tall (6' 2"), which makes these a bit too short for my liking. They barely reach my knees when worn at normal waist position, which means that when you sit down they come way up the thigh. Not so short that it's a real problem, just not as long as I'd like. Another reason for not giving 5 stars is because the color is a little more brown than I was expecting from the picture ("Vapor" looks, and sounds, gray), but that's always kind of a risk with online clothing. They will fade over time and probably lose some of the color anyway. Sewing, pockets and features otherwise are all first-rate.Additional info - I didn't mention laundering and shrinkage. These shorts did not shrink noticeably at all, and I did put them in a dryer on low to dry. So it seems as thought the sizing is pretty much on target with the stated sizes.

Since I’ve lost weight, I’ve gone down 4 inches and had to buy new shorts. They were shipped very fast, good price and they fit as expected. I will be buying more in the future.

I bought these to replace some lee dungarees that are a bit too ripped for propriety... but they are not the same at all. I got the same size 42, but they are snug at the waist and have a shorter inseam. Also the pockets are smaller. On the leg it has two pockets one on top of the other and the top button can't fit much aside from a pen. Even for keys it would be uncomfortable. All the pockets have buttons that are difficult to open. I kept the pants but they are not the most comfortable. I would not buy another pair.

The shorts are of good quality, fabric is soft but sturdy. They fit well, sizing is as advertised. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is the cargo pocket configuration. Generally I prefer one pocket on each side, but I knew these had two on each side when I ordered. However, it's a bit annoying that the left and right pockets aren't set up the same way. There are two on the left side, the lower is slightly deeper and the upper is shallow enough that I can't use it. Lower is button-fastened, upper is velcro. On the right side there's one deep pocket (velcro closure) and a smaller pocket on the outside of the larger (button). I use all my pockets, and this setup leads to a lot of digging around to figure out where I stashed something or where it will fit to carry around.

These are for daily wear. I live in Palm Springs CA. They are a bit balloony in the leg but otherwise very sturdy and I imagine they will last a long time. Not the case with the designer branded shorts they replaced which wore badly at the juncture of the clip on suspenders. The Lees look like they will survive me. Happy news as I hate to buy clothes. I am an old gay guy for whom fashion has ceased to matter nearly as much as when I was younger. A back handed compliment for these shorts, but there you are.

Size 44 fit in every way. My concern is always "Front Rise" and "Back Rise"The back rise was 18" which is 1" less than my ideal 19" but it fits fine before washing.(no plumber)The front rise was 14" which is 1" less than my ideal 15" but it fits fine before washing.(no camel)I may get more of these. It's hard to find shorts with room for a butt.

They fit my husband pretty good he is normally a 38/40 in shorts I ordered 42 because reviews said made a bit small . They fit him perfect. He is 6”4 and the length is good its to the knee . Good material

So happy with these shorts. As someone who has a hard time finding clothing that fits I am super impressed that these shorts actually look normal on me. 6'3". Ordered my size and they fit as expected.

Finally some great fitting shorts with enough pockets for those outdoor adventures very well made and a belt to boot. I am very pleased with them and have purchased multiple pairs would not hesitate to buy again

Les grandeurs ne sont pas exactes. La taille exacte habituelle que je prends était trop petite. Et en prenant une taille plus grande, ça devient beaucoup trop grand. Fait vraiment ample. Ca fait la job... mais pour la grandeur/ajustement ce n'est pas terrible. Par contre, tissus de bonne qualité.

Perfect fit and style. Being a bigger person, I was weary to order clothing online, but they are great. My weight fluctuates largely and I could lose 20 pounds and these will still work fine. Nice feel and comfortable.

These shorts are not of good quality. Very difficult to iron no matter what you try. Also they look colour after a few washes. Mind you i bought these short 2-3 months ago and wore them maybe 10 times. Dont recommend

Having found myself getting a bit wider I sent for these shorts. Fit is spot on and the style is great. I bought two other pairs as well, must be good.

I'm 5'11 and the waist is great and the shorts go to about my knee. They are good thickness, but not to thick for summer. A nice sort of light to medium cargo short. Lots of pockets etc.

I ordered them large in the waist, as I like lots of leg room. These were perfect!

I normally wear size 42 jeans and shorts, and on that one for some reasons, I took it size 44 and I'm happy I did because it feels like a "tight ish" 42.
