Product Description Birdie was the first Hoptimist designed by the Danish cabinetmaker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich (1917-1984) when he started production of Hoptimists in 1968. Back then, the colours were red, yellow, orange and green, and the bird was suspended on a spring, hovering freely. The Birdie in wood is a reinterpretation of Ehrenreich's design. The bird is in oak with aluminium wings and tail and sits on a flexible steel pin, allowing Birdie to hover above your desk, on a shelf or on a windowsill.
