Not a bad holster. Here's the sizing with a Smith and Wesson 642 j-frame.
Not that bad for the price, but still not great. I use it for my S&W 642 airweight revolver. Get a size 4 for it. Here are pictures of the sizing difference-- size 3 in the first picture and size 4 in the second.

Awesome holster at a great price!
I saw other reviews on this holster, stating that it doesn't stay in the pocket when you draw . This is not a fault of the manufacturer, rather a "break in" situation.First off, the holster is a tight fit on the pistols it is recommended for... (mine is a Ruger LC9S). What I do to break in a new nylon holster is I roll up a sock and stuff it tightly into the holster and leave it sit for a few days. Then, take a generous sheet of wax paper and wrap it around the gun, and form it into the holster. Work it around for a day or two inside the holster. Then, buff the inside of the holster with the wax paper wrapped around 3 fingers.Your gun will now slide easily out of your new holster, and will stay in your pocket.

Protects the weapon but not the carrier
My Taurus G2C (9mm) fits perfectly and it conceals the weapon while also protecting it it from keys etc in my pocket. The price is fair considering those criteria. But if push comes to shove I wouldn’t trust this pocket holster. It lacks the fabric “hook” that some other pocket holsters have. When I go to pull my gun out of my pocket this holster comes with it. The problems with that are probably obvious. It’s possible that breaking it in will improve the situation, but are the short term risks worth the wait? I would probably rate this lower if a gun the the size/weight of a G2C was actually appropriate for concealed personal protection, but it really isn’t. It’s more likely that the weight of this Taurus will pull my pants down while I flee from danger than it is for me to use it against an assailant. For that reason I’ll give it a generous three stars.

Pretty decent pocket holster
I actually think these Uncle Mike's are a great product for the price's paid. I ended up needing a size 1 for my Ruger LCP so had to exchange the Size 2 which was a little too large, so be careful when ordering..Some of the descriptions are misleading and some sites will say the size 2 is correct and some (( not many )) will say the size 1..Anyhow, the stitching was really good on both units and the pistol sits really well in the size 1with the muzzle end being sewn closed. And when pulling the pistol out of the pocket the holster does a good, not excellent, job of staying in the pocket and releasing the pistol..That part could be a little better but then the price would probably go up...The only other negative I could find over the mostly positives is that these are no longer made in the USA and I don't know when they quit doing that..Could be 2 years and could be 10 but mine is made in Vietnam and wish UM still made them here..Just sayin'.....Other than that a pretty good product.

Too Tight For Recommended Firearms
Seems too tight for a S&W J-frame 642 (.38, 5-shot revolver). Holster comes out of your pocket along with the firearm. I probably should have ordered the next larger size, but the size 3 that I got was what was what was recommended for a 5-shot 38 revolver. I have other holsters of similar sizing that don't stick to the firearm when drawing my pocket. And it is difficult to find the actual measurements for Uncle Mike's holsters. Even the company's own website doesn't show them (at least not for this inside-the-pocket model).

Something to Think About
This is the only type of holster that I don't have to worry about, or be self-conscious of, or be uncomfortable wearing. Since it's inside my pocket, I don't have to be concerned about my jacket or vest blowing open, or my sweater or shirt hiking up -- thereby exposing my "concealed" handgun for all to see. I carry it legally; it's nobody else's business that I have it. Mind you, I wear cargo pants, so the only thing in that upper pants pocket is the holstered pistol. My car keys, handkerchief, and a speed-loader are in the lower (cargo) pocket. I keep change in yet another pocket. With this system, I can walk around in public NOT HAVING TO THINK ABOUT MY GUN all the time.

A little lightweight, but does the job.
Fits an LCP and Taurus perfectly. The grip band holds it in your pocket. The squared off end helps it stay upright in your pocket, rather than tilting like a pointed or rounded holster will. The interior is very soft. I'm sure holster wear will be minimal compared to leather. It is soft nylon so a couple of things must be expected: 1. It will not hide your weapon's "print", closer fitting clothes, especially light weight fabrics, will advertise your pocket contents. 2. It is soft and flimsy, it closes flat, making reholstering tougher, but the idea of concealed carry is to hope you never need it, and in case you do, I don't think speed holstering is a consideration. The safest place for any weapon is in a holster, this is a holster, and it covers the whole trigger guard. I carry in a much more expensive Galco leather pocket holster, but for the money, this does what it's suppose to, at a great value. It was the perfect purchase to give to a friend who always carried loosely, in his pocket.

Surprising quality for the price.
I bought this pocket holster to carry my pistol in my pocket, or in a bag without worrying about getting debris in the barrel. The holster works perfectly. It is very easy to draw your weapon from the holster, and you get the added relief of knowing that you won't accidentally fire a shot in your pocket if you do not have a manual safety. Great product. Great price. I see no reason to purchase any of the more expensive inside-the-pocket holsters out there.
