POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR FAULTS OR RETURNS
5 months in and used about 15 times, an electrical clicking, sparking noise has started. Have tried to find contact number, email or website to find out how to get a replacement but to no avail. This shockingly bad Customer Service. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Going round in circlws with locating how to return faulty item. No phone numbers, email addresses, it is like Amazon want your noney BUT do not want to take on any duty of care or responsibility for faulty items that their customers have.Also no details for the manufacturer ABSOLUTE CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE, on this occassion

Very good charger charged my D cell batteries just fine I have 2 smaller Ansmann chargers that have been very reliable for several years this charger looks to be of the same high quality-I purchased a cheaper charger from amazon and had to send it back as it was faulty But Ansmann charger is a bit dearer but you only get what you pay for Very pleased with this charger

It gets worryingly Hot
The charging times are very disappointing and the Unit gets worryingly hot so I keep it propped off the desk slightly to get air underneath and always stay nearby just incase of problems. Really it should have been returned but I couldn't spare the time.

Read the Instructions and description
It seemed to be adequate on first appearances, but on reading the instructions, it states that the charging of a 9v battery is not an automatic shutoff when full. It requires you to calculate out the time according to their figures and then manually shut it down when fully charged. In my opinion, that's a waste of your time for any decent charger these days and potentially unsafe I returned it unused and have now ordered a different make

Does what it is supposed to do. Gives reasonably quick charge safely and cannot overcharge due to voltage monitoring of each cell. I purchased for charging very heavy duty NiMH D cells.

wanted a charger for normal alkaline aaa -aa batteries but it is clearly for ni cad rechargable
advertised for AAA=AA batteries but was for rechargable Ni cad so not tested sent back unopened
