Southland 521-603HN Floor Flange, 1/2", Black

These are great: *much* cheaper than what I found at our local Big-Box home store (about half the price), and they look and work exactly the same. I think the only complaint is that they are all marked "China" (at least the ones I received). I used mine for a pipe-and-wood bookshelf, so I needed quite a few of them. They all arrived individually packaged in bubble-wrap, so I'm assuming that they'd be easy to send back, as well.I'd definitely order these again if I had a similar project to do. Just can't beat the savings for orders of more than a dozen.

I ordered 24 of these since my local Home Depot sold none smaller than 3/4". Good for me, because the price at HD was $5.50 each for the 3/4" and these were under $1.75 each. Shipping might seem high, but it's not that bad when you order 24 like I did. My S&H charge was only $8.50 (divided by 24, that's only 36¢ each). I would have paid more than that just in sales tax even if HD sold them for $3.98 each.I ordered them through Ozbo (you can find them under "More Buying Choices") and they shipped quickly. They were all machined very well, and fit my 1/2" pipes perfectly. If you can wait a few days before starting your project, I highly rec'd you get these.

I make live edge slab wood furniture with metal legs (various styles). These flanges worked great with my table design! Arrived quickly, threaded perfectly. Less expensive than purchasing per piece in hardware stores locally. Thanks for prompt delivery!

I ordered four floor flanges to make industrial-looking shelves, not for plumbing purposes.Pro: They're reasonably priced (half the price as the ones from Home Depot)Cons:- They're more dark grey than black- They have "CHINA" and "1/2" printed on them, right on the face (i.e. they're not as pictured on the website)- They're not returnable/refundableUnfortunately, cons # 2 makes them unsuitable for shelving purposes, unless you don't mind "CHINA" and "1/2" showing...

I needed flanges for the pallet coffee table I was constructing. Flanges are expensive, so I looked online and, sure enough, found flanges for a great price.Shipping and handling was great, and the flanges themselves are phenomenal. They are on the underside of my coffee table so no one ever sees them but the coffee table looks great, and I tell everyone who admires it that it's all about the flanges.

Using this as a base for my sculptures, looks like good quality. Will buy again.
