Excellent quality, compact Elmo. Very happy.I will be looking forward to the next iteration of this document camera since this is a *little* slow on the response between input devices. The light is almost useless. Great quality camera. Easy hookup. Love it.

Picture quality, ease of use, connectivity, stability, and footprint size are all excellent. My only gripe is that when connected over USB there is no way to disable the microphone. If you want to teach a small group lesson off the doc cam and play music for the rest of the class at the same time you will need to connect with VGA.

Poor image quality. Printed pages appeared washed out when passed through an otherwise excellent projector. Poor compensation for color temperature. Adjustments for better image quality were ineffective in my hands after hours of experimentation. I returned the unit after about one week. The seller made the return easy and promptly refunded my credit card.

Elmo MO-1 is an excellent piece of equipment. In our case, it just was not capable of projecting a large enough document -- i.e., a large sheet of watercolor paper being used in a demonstration class. There were no problems with the machine itself and the image was very sharp and clear.

I provide visual support to attorneys and recently purchased this for use in a huge murder trial. I had the Elmo, a MacBook Pro, and an iPad 2 all connected to my Viewsonic projector. Switching between all three during trial worked well, and the Elmo worked great as an immediate visual source when resources on the computer or iPad were hard to locate. In that situation the attorneys would throw a document or photograph under the Elmo and it was on the screen in a second. The quality is good for the price. Purchasing a more expensive model may give you a better image. I couldn't beat the price and also how easy it was to just throw into my rolling bag with all of my other equipment. So far, very happy with the product.

Excellent document camera. This is my second one from ELMO. The first one is pink and it is still working. This one is for my other job. Portable, light, professional looking and an excellent teaching tool. Good price as well.

I am very happy with this device. I had a little trouble figuring out how to set the resolution so that it would be visually clear. I made a call to technical support, and received a reply within about 20 minutes.The fellow who called was very helpful and solve the problem quickly. I recommend this to anyone who does presentations or teaches with the aid of a computer.

Takes a little while to adapt locating the document under the camera especially with zoom. You can't slide the document beyond the base of the presenter. I also have not been able to get the HD function to work, only analog, which is disappointing. The Epsom projector hat came wih it simply will not recognize the presenter in HD wiring mode.
