Excellent value, sharp edge
Cuts through hard vegetables as if through butter. Holds edge well, very well through regular honing. Little hand fatigue over long periods of use, especially using pinch grip. Have given it as gift to serious cooks, who agree.

Incredible Sharpness and Quality at a Great Price!
I am extremely impressed with the DDF iohEF Chef’s Knife. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but this knife has truly exceeded my expectations. The Japanese stainless steel blade is ultra-sharp, cutting through vegetables, meat, and even tougher foods with absolute ease. I’ve used more expensive knives in the past, and honestly, this one holds its own in terms of sharpness and performance. The 7-inch Santoku design is versatile and well-balanced, making it great for all kinds of kitchen tasks. The ergonomic handle is also a standout feature—it provides a firm, comfortable grip that feels secure, even when your hands are wet.For what it is, this knife is incredibly sharp, durable, and offers amazing value. If you're looking for a reliable chef’s knife without breaking the bank, this is the one to get!

New go-to knife
This is my first knife like this and I'm totally hooked. Today I chopped celery, onions and potatoes with ease. Lightweight and comfortable grip makes it my go-to knife now. I love it. I'll definitely look at other knives from this company.

Sharp!!!
Very sharp, compact size blade easy to use very effective. Sharp, be careful washing it I cut myself! Great for cutting potatoes, meat, the grooves prevents suction sticking. Pleasure to use

After three years a very slightly flawed champion
I've been a chef for a few years and this knife has been unwavering. It holds up under both high-frequency performance and doesn't readily dull after periods of disuse. It sharpens easily and is far and away my favorite knife. It's a good size for my relatively small hands. The handle is wonderful for long-term prepping. The knife is obviously beautiful as well.If I hade two caveats, it would be that this knife rusts and chips. Not a great deal and not quickly but after three years I have observed rust developing on the blade and handle. And the blade is prone to minor chips over time. Nothing that prevents me from using the knife but still somewhat disappointing. Good value for the price, though.

Great price. Impressive.
Super sharp. I was worried the handle would be slippery, it's not. Even when I was hand washing the handle, the soap didn't make it slippery! Very impressive for the price.

Big!!!
Ok this thing is sharp and does what a knife should! But holy cow it’s huge! I have little hands so debating on keeping it or not! But great quality!
